My treatment here has been absolutely first class. Staff could not be more helpful and friendly. I had to attend a funeral recently and my appointment had to be changed, but staff fitted me in no problem.

I know a lot of people find car parking a problem here, but we have been told to park at the Maggi Centre, so it’s not an issue for me.

Right from the date of my diagnosis my treatment here from the NHS has been marvellous. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.

I should mention that only once was my appointment time delayed because of an issue with patient transport (ie people were late in arriving and this pushed everything back). But to be on time almost to the minute 19 times out of 20 is a pretty good record.

I appreciate the sweets on the Reception desk!

Dear Piperboy1, thank you for taking the time to feedback your experience of our Radiotherapy Department. My name is Bob, one of the Support Workers who would have welcomed you to our department.

It is particularly pleasing to hear that our staff have been friendly and helpful. I will pass on your kind words. We will do anything possible to make the experience as comfortable for you. Parking, on the other hand is an ongoing issue that our Head of Therapeutic Radiography continues to take to management meetings. I am glad that you worked around this by using Maggies (which in itself is a lovely place to visit). Due to the number of patient appointments per day, inevitably there can be a domino effect should someone be late. I do hope that you were not inconvenienced too much on that day.

On behalf of everyone here, I hope you benefit from your treatments and wish you well for the future. (Oh, and ssshhh, the sweets are a secret!).
