"So very disappointed and disillusioned"

About: Musgrave Park Hospital / Pre Operative assessment (ward 2A) Musgrave Park Hospital / X-ray department

(as the patient),

At Musgrave Park Hospital appointment Pre Op Assessment recently.

13:30 appointment, seen 14:30 by health care assistant, then left waiting another 50mins, seen by staff nurse medical history onto encompass.

Left in same room, no windows, door open and all other patients history heard. No confidentiality.

No one explained why the wait - 50mins later told have to reschedule appointment as assessment practitioner had gone home for the day. Then told there was a pilot system going on, however was not told or no posters displayed about this. Asked to go x-ray after this, waited another 45mins, as staff were not aware I was sent. So very disappointed and disillusioned.

Then attended appointment for the assessment to be completed, appointment 08:50, seen @09:00 by staff nurse Karen- all completed and out of clinic at 09:25. Much more pleasant experience by this lovely Nurse Karen.
