"After illness - my recovery"

I was referred to an OT by my GP. I have just finished my Occupational Therapy sessions with Shirley. I was grateful that Shirley allowed my wife to sit in the sessions. At first I was a little nervous as I didn't know what to expect - Shirley put me at ease. Shirley allowed me to talk about my recent health problems although she knew a bit from my medical notes.

I didn't know all what an OT did with patients - In my case it wasn't about my illnesses as such but my recovery going forward. Both myself and my wife have learned so much about the aftercare from Shirley. I am not out of the woods yet. Shirley is the perfect person to be in the position she is in.
