"The care I received was world-class"

I was recently admitted to Ward 22 at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, with an auto-immune kidney condition. From the moment of my arrival, the care I received was world-class. The level of professionalism, skill & compassion was faultless & every effort was made to support me & resolve my condition.

There were more than 20 members of staff directly delivering face-to-face care & every one of them made the effort to explain the diagnosis procedure, why treatments were being applied and the expected recovery process. I felt completely involved in the treatment plan, which was a great reassurance to me.

My experience of Ward 22 was of an exceptional team, delivering an exceptional service. They are a credit to the NHS.

I hope never to suffer a kidney issue again, but if I do, Ward 22 is exactly where I would wish to be.
