About: Doncaster - Community Nurses / Community Nursing - East

(as a relative),

The whole district nursing team have been excellent providing care for my husband as he is reaching the end of his life.

In particular nurse Louise visited my husband to support with his drain. Louise listened to my worries and we were able to talk about how I was feeling tired and feeling not able to care for him as well had been doing because how poorly he was.

Louise showed great empathy and supported me to be able to arrange for him to be cared for in a care home which has made it so I can now be a wife again instead of his carer.
