"Excellent medical care and safe practice on…"

I am writing to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the excellent care I received during my recent stay (12th – 17th June ’25) on Guildford Ward at the Royal Surrey Hospital.

From the moment I was seen in A and E I realised that the attention to care and safety was paramount. I was taken to ‘Majors’ and then admitted to Guildford Ward; and I was met with kindness, professionalism, and genuine interest at each stage.

Every member of the team—nurses, doctors, healthcare assistants, and support staff — was not only skilled and attentive, but also incredibly friendly and reassuring. Their helpful attitude and calm, respectful manner made a real difference to my experience and recovery.

The medical treatment I received was first-class. I felt completely confident in the care provided by the Consultant and his team, they went the extra mile at every stage of my treatment. The medication and procedures were clearly explained and expertly administered, day and night. It was clear that patient wellbeing is at the heart of everything your team does.

Please extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone on Guildford Ward. Their dedication and warmth are a true credit to the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, and I am deeply grateful for all they did for me.
