"I had the pleasure of staying in ward 6C"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Cardiology (Heart Conditions) Wards 6c & 6d

(as the patient),

I had the pleasure of staying in ward 6C at the QEUH Glasgow and have to credit all of the staff from the senior nurse in charge , all nurses, nursing assistants, student nurses, domestic assistant , catering assistants and everyone else I’ve came in contact with.

Exceptional standard of care , empathy , cleanliness, struggling here for words to describe just how wonderful this ward is .

From the minute I was transferred up here I could see and sense how all staff, even visiting paramedics gravitated towards Linda the lead nurse , she positively influences everyone around her and it shows .

Hard working and such pleasant and happy staff ( too many to mention) make a marvellous team and just felt I had to write to get them recognised for the outstanding care they have shown me and I’m sure all other patients.

As much as I love you all I hope I don’t see you again in the cardiac ward x

Dear FHS68

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful feedback with us on Care Opinion. We are truly grateful for your kind words and recognition of the exceptional care provided by the team in Ward 6C at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

It’s heart warming to hear that you experienced such high standards of care, compassion, and professionalism during your stay. The dedication and hard work of our staff, from nurses and nursing assistants to catering and domestic staff, are at the heart of what we do. We are thrilled that you felt supported and cared for by our team, particularly under the leadership of Linda, whose positive influence is indeed valued by all who work with her.

We are also very grateful for your recognition of the teamwork and positive atmosphere within the ward. It’s always our goal to ensure that every patient receives the best care possible, and your feedback is a testament to the efforts of the entire team.

While we are delighted to have been able to care for you, we truly hope that you remain healthy and never need to visit the cardiac ward again. However, should you ever need our services in the future, please know that we are here to help.

Once again, thank you for your kind words. We will be sure to share your feedback with the entire team, as it means so much to them to know their hard work is appreciated.

Wishing you all the best in your recovery and health.

Kind regards

Kevin
