(as a relative),

Just want to thank Deputy sister Ciara working on ward 7A in the RVH Belfast for caring for my elderly mother with such kindness and compassion. Ciara could not have done any more to ensure my mum was comfortable and pain free.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us via Care opinion. My name is Mandy Dougan and I am the Lead nurse for the medical specialities which includes ward 7A. I am delighted to hear that your mothers inpatient stay in Ward 7A was a positive one. It is very important to our team that our patients and their families receive a high standard of care and are treated with compassion and respect. It is very reassuring that our staff continue to demonstrate professionalism and empathy in the delivery of their care. I will ensure that your compliment is shared with the nurses and doctors who cared for your mother in ward 7A and in particular Deputy sister Ciara who is an inspiration and a highly valued member of the team in ward 7A. I wish your mother continued good health in her recovery.
