I would like to thank everyone on the maternity ward for the support you give me when I ended up with an emergency c section from a cord prolapse, you was all so calm, knew what you needed to do acted fast and got my baby out safely also reassuring me explaining what was happening and also supporting me knowing my partner wasn’t there due to him not getting there in time. Also the after care has been amazing and both me and baby are home recovering.

You all should be very proud of yourself as we know it could have been a completely different story if you didn’t act fast.

Thank you for your positive comments posted on the NHS website regarding the care you received from maternity services at Saint Mary’s.

It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is always good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff. It was reassuring to read that you thought the care provided by all staff during your emergency care, along with the support provided after your birth and whilst back at home.

I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to the Head of Midwifery who will share your comments with the staff involved.
