"Friendly, helpful and nothing a problem"

About: Adult Health & Support Services / Occupational Therapy

(as a service user),

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Sara and Michelle from OT dept (children and young people) in Coathill hospital. They have been fabulous help with my little boy who is awaiting neurodevelopmental team for a diagnosis.

As a working mum and having a child with asn I was struggling to find ways to help my son. He struggled with day to day tasks , dexterity, fine motor and gross motor skills. Both girls have been excellent support for us in providing assessments, support, aids to help my son.

Michelle has been visiting at home for a block of games and exercises. These have helped him tremendously and given us ideas on how to help him. I can’t thank them enough. Friendly , helpful and nothing a problem .

Thanks girls x

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. I am delighted to hear of the positive impact that Sara and Michelle have had on your son and your family. It is lovely to hear of the progress your son has made, and to hear that you feel furnished with ideas to continue the progress you have observed. I will make sure I pass your kind words and thanks onto Sara and Michelle.
