"Forever grateful to our NHS and the amazing staff."

About: Royal Hospital for Children (Glasgow) / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

We visited the children’s A&E with my baby who had fallen and hit his face off the ground.

We were seen within minutes of arriving and the staff were supportive, caring and very reassuring. I had my older child with me and they gave him colouring in & an ice lolly. They were very calm and patient and explained exactly what they were doing each time they came to do tests etc. We were kept in for 4 hours for observations and then told we could safely go home.

Genuinely couldn’t fault the service we received and remain forever grateful to our NHS and the amazing staff.

Dear orionhm34

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are truly heartened to hear that you and your family received such prompt, compassionate care during what must have been a very stressful time.

Our dedicated team in the children's A&E strives to provide the best possible care to every patient, and it's wonderful to know that their calm and supportive approach made a difference for you and your children.

We will be sure to pass on your kind words to the staff involved in your care. I'm sure they will be delighted to hear your feedback.

Wishing your baby a speedy recovery.

Kind regards

Kevin
