"One of quite a few overnight stays in Buckland Ward"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

My latest admission was to remove 5 bladder tumors in early November.

The care I received was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. Matron Jacqui and her team deserve the highest praise.

This is not an isolated instance. I received the similar care when I was in Chaldon ward back in April 2013 when I was treated for a minor stroke. I can also commend the catering, an example being a very tasty tuna and pasta salad for lunch.

Dear Dirk

Thank you for taking the time to post such a nice comment about your recent experiences at East Surrey Hospital. I will pass your comments to the Buckland Ward team.

It was good to read your positive views of the food - the tuna and pasta bake in particular - as our catering staff work very hard to provide nice food for all our patients.

Kind regards

Ian
