"I have really enjoyed my time here"

About: Lurgan Hospital / Ward 2

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have been in ward 2 Lurgan Hospital for 3 months and I couldn’t say a bad thing about my stay. I have really enjoyed my time here and didn’t see the time going on.

The whole team have been great and everyone had time to talk to me or shout in on the way past. My husband passed away whilst I was in the hospital and everyone was so supportive and I appreciated being in the side room which enabled my dignity and allowed me to have privacy with my family.

I can’t thank everyone enough for what they have done - I will miss it here but looking forward to getting back to my own wee corner at home

I send my deepest condolences to you on the death of your husband, especially when you yourself were in hospital. I am so very glad that ward 2 were enabled you to have valuable private time with your family at that very sad time.

It is lovely to hear that you have really enjoyed your time in ward, and that everyone had time to talk to you.

I will pass your kind words onto the team.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and hopefully it wont be long until you get home to "your wee corner"
