"Excellent service from NDDH/CMDU"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Covid Medicines Delivery Unit (CMDU)

(as the patient),

I contracted Covid for the first time. As I am immune suppressed I rang 111 who answered the phone promptly and then referred me to the Covid Medicines Delivery Unit to be assessed.

Within 30 minutes I received a phone call from them, was assessed and my treatment was issued and delivery arranged for later the same day.

Everything was explained clearly and I was made to feel very at ease. The service was very well organised and efficient and the care shown is very much appreciated. Thank you to you all.

Good morning, I apologise that it has taken so long to respond to your feedback. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. I am so pleased that your experience of the whole service was a positive one, we make every attempt to contact patients as soon as we receive their referral as we understand the anxiety having Covid can cause.

I hope you found the antivirals to be of benefit and you made a speedy recovery.
