"Good quality care"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Trauma & orthopaedics (wards 26, 27, 61 & 62 )

(as a relative),

We would just like to say thanks for the great care my elderly mum received from all  nursing, medical, clinical support workers and physiotherapy staff when she recently spent a number of weeks in Glasgow Royal Infirmary, wards 62, 26 and 56.

She became a ‘delayed discharge’ while waiting for a care package so was in hospital for over 6 weeks resulting in the ward moves.

Throughout her stay staff were caring and considerate. Nothing was a problem and everything was done with a smile which was very reassuring  for both mum and ourselves.

Dear Cml137

Thank you for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was delighted to hear the care and treatment your mum received, while attending the Trauma & Orthopaedics Department of the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, was of a high standard.

I can only begin to imagine how worried you and your family must have been through these last 6 weeks so to hear your mum was so well looked after by the staff was very heart warming.

I have passed on your thanks to the staff within the ward who have asked me to thank you for your kind words. It's very much appreciated by the staff.

I hope your mums feeling a lot better since being discharged.

Kind regards

Kevin
