"A very pleasant experience in spite of my condition"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / Accident and emergency United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust

(as a service user),

I ruptured my Achilles’ tendon

I was directed to Grantham by 111 after being misled into thinking Glenfield had an A&E

I was in and out in 4 hours:

check in

Triage

Initial exam by Dr

Ultrasound

Dr explained treatment

Plaster plus anticoagulant prescription

Pharmacy

Exit

I felt like everyone was extremely prompt, genuinely cared about me and communicated very well. It was a very pleasant experience in spite of my condition.
