"dementia and epilepsy"

About: Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust / Older people's mental health

(as a relative),

My mum has had epilepsy since the age of 16. Herself and my dad have been married over 25 years and he has always managed to control and deal with her epilepsy side however in the past 3 years we have found out she has a form of dementia which is rapidly progressing. We are not getting any support at all with the situation she can become very aggressive and violent some days. my dad is in his 70s and is not coping well with the situation and services that should be helping are not helping at all. I find this very disgraceful and would appreciate any help or advise possible.
