Firstly I want to thank you for the continuous hard work and performance you guys do, I have never had a issues with the NHS and I'm not one to moan but this morning something upset me. I'm a taxi driver and early hours one morning 1am I picked up a passenger with a suspected broken leg/ankle. The poor fella struggled to get into my taxi without assistance. I arrived at A+E worcester and I knew about his situation and as it was quiet i parked in the Ambulance drop off point just to get the man closer to the door, without him hopping over the road, hopping around pot holes and hopping up kerbs, without causing him any more discomfort and causing another accident. Now I'm aware I shouldn't of parked there but it seemed the best thing to do without causing him more injury. I wasn't blocking ambulances or causing a nuisance.
Within seconds a security person comes out and tells me without compassion and very rude they says I had to move my car. I said that "the guy cant walk without assistance I'm getting him closer to the door " and the security told me to get a wheelchair. As a taxi driver the last thing you would do is leave a stranger in a taxi when you have valuables (money, satnavs, phones, etc). It really upset me how their uncaring, rude behaviour is. I'm a big fan of the NHS and thankful of the hard work and endless hours you put in for the public service, Its just a shame you have a lack of common sense working at that accident and emergency.
