"Hysteroscopy treatment"

About: University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust

I was referred to Princess Anne Hospital under the fast track system and seen within 2 weeks ... following an ultra scan and an initial hsteroscopy examination it was decided I required a treatment hysteroscopy , removal of polyp and biopsy

This second appointment again arrived within 2 weeks and I attended the hospital ; on both occasions I was seen promptly and all the staff involved were extremely professional , understanding and explained every stage of the procedures ; they made the point that I was “ in charge “ and if at any time I wanted the procedure stopped I had only to say - they repeatedly checked in with me throughout and were absolutely amazing .

I cannot commend all the staff highly enough and hope that they receive this feedback and my heartfelt appreciation and thanks.

The only down side was the parking which as repeatedly mentioned is a challenge and expensive

Thank you for providing your feedback which has been shared with the team who will have cared for you.

It is pleasing that you received good communication and felt 'in charge' at what was a very concerning time for you.

Please be assured that we are constantly striving to make improvements to the visitor parking to ease the capacity challenges. The charges are set along national tariff and any profits are reinvested in the Trust.
