"Cancelled apointment"

About: Shepton Mallet NHS Treatment Centre

(as the patient),

I've waited for months in pain with an ankle injury. I've taken time off work to attend an appointment at the Shepton Mallet Treatment Centre. 24 hours before my appointment I was called and told the appointment was cancelled as my consultant had to attend a meeting. I struggle with time off and cannot afford to take more time off I am in pain disappointed and angry with the service I have received.

When patients are waiting for appointments and you cancel at the last minute I think we are Justified with an explanation as to why. I took time off work to attend the appointment and lost money, I now have to take another day off to attend another appointment which I've had to wait another 2 months for while in pain.
