"Did the Doctor read my notes?"

About: United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust

(as the patient),

GP sent me for an x-ray of my knee. I had this done and was told I have a fracture. They took me through to A& E and was told they were going to make appt in fracture clinic and it needs plastering.

Waited for doctor at A& E to call me in. The doctor looked at my knee moved it around a bit and said I could go home and take ibuprofen it was just bruised.

I said  I was told that it was fractured. They had a look then they came back and said, yes there is a crack there so it needs plastering .. Didn't leave me with much faith. Did the doctor even read my notes?!

We are so sorry and can totally appreciate your lack of faith....could you possibly let us know which hospital you attended and we can ask the team there to look into this for you.
