Dear "Merci"

Thank you for your amazing feedback for Joanne and Sanah, I'm sure they will be absolutely delighted to hear that you found "Improve Your Mood" so helpful.

We often find that there is a bit of reluctance to attend groups. Obviously people can be nervous about having to share personal information or feel that their particular issues wont be addressed. However as you now know, our groups don't require anyone to talk more than they want to and often, although people sometimes feel no one will be able to understand or feel what they do, in a group common themes emerge and people learn that they are not alone.

Psycho-educational groups can indeed be informative, supportive and as you say, "life-changing". In addition the wait is shorter, which is always a good thing.

I am very pleased to be passing on your thoughts to Joanne and Sanah and to the rest of the team.

On behalf of Joanne, Sanah and the rest of the team at Ealing IAPT, our best wishes and thanks.

Dr Louise De Haro. Clinical Psychologist

Deputy Clinical Lead Ealing IAPT
