"Maternity care"

About: Liverpool Women's NHS Foundation Trust

What can I say, up to the operation the staff and theatre staff were excellent. However, once the operation was complete there was a distinct lack of care. Pressing the care button on the bed “may” have someone turn up within the next hour, highly inefficient. Desperate to check myself out I was told I couldn’t as I needed to wait for meds to arrive. It was known for two weeks that medication would be needed after the operation but they had only requested it the day of the op. Yep, I had to wait 6 hours to receive the meds. Inefficient once again and a joke.. It is no wonder the NHS is haemorrhaging money on a daily basis. Mis-management all the way through the structure.
